About
Endless Forms is a world-premiere puppetry work blending tabletop puppetry, shadow play, digital projection, and electronic music. It was created by Monica Lerch, a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary puppet artist, with Jeshua Bratman as writer and producer and Sean Devare as creative co-director. The story follows Syx, whose body is withering in a future where engineering the body is a crime; she alters herself in secret, builds robotic companions, and descends beneath the ocean to a commune of transformed humans. There, the wholeness she finds asks her to surrender the self she has fought to preserve.
