Femme Noir: film series on noir's seductive women.

Femme Noir is a film series celebrating the women of film noir. It is the Quad Cinema's second annual Noirvember program, focusing on seductive, ambitious, and often dangerously misunderstood noir women. It pairs 1945 noir/melodrama hybrids starring Joan Crawford and Gene Tierney with 1980s and 90s erotic neo-noirs featuring Kathleen Turner and Sharon Stone. The films explore maternal sacrifice, obsessive love, and calculated seduction in dark, unsettling worlds.
