Kalcium Fortified's bone paintings, with an opening party.

First Friday Art Exhibit: Kalcium Fortified is an art exhibit with an opening party at Strong Rope Brewery. The exhibit features the work of Kalcium Fortified (Kelsey Strauch), a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist whose biomorphic "bone" paintings bring a whimsical, otherworldly energy to the wall. First Fridays at Strong Rope are a collaboration with the Blank Wall Project and BierWax, and Kalcium's work will be on display through November. The opening party features food by Empanada Papa and DJ Chef Stress spinning tunes on the waterfront.
