Francisca Valenzuela
National Sawdust, North 6th Street 80, 11249, Brooklyn
About
Francisca Valenzuela performs confessional, raw, poetic alt-art-pop-piano music in Spanish at National Sawdust, a standing-room-only, all-ages performance. From Santiago, Chile, she is one of the boldest artists of her generation in the Spanish language, exploring tremendously personal and intimate themes in an unapologetic confessional, piano-based form. An independent artist who writes, composes, performs and directs her own career on her label FRANTASTIC, her last album Adentro was considered among the best of 2023 by Variety and Rolling Stone. She is also the founder and director of Ruidosa Fest, a feminist, interdisciplinary festival championing gender equity and diversity in the Latin American music industry.
