About
A hands-on Family Fridays workshop at the National Museum of Mathematics where families fold paper and explore geometry together. Artist and educator Paula Beardell Krieg leads an exploration of origami, geometry, and optical illusion, introducing chirality — shapes that come in left- and right-handed mirror versions that cannot be perfectly matched. Participants fold an origami cube and create surprising pieces that fit together in clever, unexpected ways. Thanks to the generous support of Two Sigma, the program is free to attendees.
