About
A screening of the film Hermia & Helena, presented by Fireflies Press. Matías Piñeiro's film follows Camila, a young Argentine theater director who travels from Buenos Aires to New York for an artistic residency to make a new Spanish translation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, but finds her work does not make up for the friends and boyfriend she left behind. The first film Piñeiro made in his adoptive home of New York City, it screens alongside the stateside launch of his new artist's book from Fireflies Press, From where do you start when drawing a flower? A Q&A with the filmmaker moderated by Dennis Lim follows the screening.
