About
HOUSEWORK as WORLD-BUILDING (2/3) is the second session of a course on the reenchantment of invisible labor. It is led by feminist writer, researcher, and organizer Zafi Tate at the Strother School of Radical Attention. The course attends closely to often-marginalized domestic labor from three sociocultural vantage points: housework as world-building, as art practice, and as ritual. Through discussion, attention practices, collaborative writing, and experimental performance art, participants explore the International Wages for Housework movement, thinkers on the politics of care, artists such as Mierle Laderman Ukeles and Mona Hatoum, and the contemplative work of Thich Nhat Hanh.
