WRITING RADICAL ATTENTION [ONLINE] (1/3)
Strother School of Radical Attention, Washington Street 55, 11201, Brooklyn
About
An online writing seminar held over three Wednesday sessions, exploring writing as a practice of attention and a form of resistance to so-called human fracking. It is led by Len Nalencz, writer and associate professor of English at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, and takes place on Zoom. Through readings by Raymond Queneau, Rachel Hadas, Italo Calvino, and others, participants experiment with different modes of writing and the forms of attention they make possible, combining reading, writing, and workshop sessions. Writers, teachers of writing, and aspiring writers are all welcome.
