Jennifer Wharton's Bonegasm

Jennifer Wharton's Bonegasm is a live jazz performance by a New York City-based ensemble that puts the trombone front and center with four trombones and a rhythm section. It was founded by acclaimed bass trombonist Jennifer Wharton, who brings virtuosity, wit, and plenty of swagger to an instrument that rarely gets top billing. With three acclaimed albums to their name, Bonegasm expands the trombone repertoire through bold arrangements and newly commissioned works. The unticketed event is free and open to the public as part of Free Music at PAC NYC.
