About
A live jazz sextet evening at LunÀticô devoted to the music of trombonist Bennie Green. Trombonist, composer, and four-time Emmy winner J. Walter Hawkes leads the band — Stacy Dillard on tenor, Sharp Radway on piano, Melissa Slocum on bass, Alvester Garnett on drums, and Renato Thoms on percussion — through a curated selection of Green's exuberant, swinging catalogue from recordings on Blue Note, Decca, and Prestige. Two sets are played, and the venue serves a full dinner and cocktail menu.
