About
A live concert evening presented by LPR at Littlefield in Brooklyn. It stars Carsie Blanton, a radical folk songwriter in the tradition of Woody Guthrie, performing with her band alongside The Burning Hell. Blanton blends infectious melodies, lyrical wit, vaudeville, campfire singalongs and punk rock into a show of humor, hope and solidarity. Beyond music, she works as a political organizer and activist, having joined the Global Sumud Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza by sailboat.
