Nritya Arpan: A Kathak & Kuchipudi Classical Dance Presentation

Nritya Arpan, meaning "an offering through dance", is a classical Indian dance presentation featuring the traditions of Kathak and Kuchipudi. It is performed by the multi-generational rising artists of Neela Dance Academy, including several dancers on stage for the first time, under the direction of artistic director Neela Zareen. Live Carnatic and Hindustani ensembles with professional musicians accompany the pieces. Supported by Flushing Town Hall and Glow Cultural Center, the event is free and open to the public.
