Queer Diwali Ball: drag gala and mela for Desi Rainbow.

The Queer Diwali Ball 2026 is an annual gala celebrating a queer and trans South Asian Diwali, the Festival of Lights. It is in its third year since 2024 and brings together drag artists, a vibrant queer mela market with vendors, and a joyous crowd of 200 guests expected this year. More than a party, it is a benefit for Desi Rainbow, supporting their work to empower and uplift LGBTQ+ South Asians and their families. The event is hosted by the Brooklyn Community Pride Center.
