About

Slam Frank is a satirical musical retelling the story of Anne Frank as a hip-hop show staged by a progressive community theater company. It was written by Andrew Fox and Joel Sinensky, conceived by Fox, with songs by Fox, and is directed by Sam LaFrage. The show is described as part satire, part reckoning, a comedy inspired by a viral tweet about Anne Frank and white privilege. Ben Brantley called it 'the most important new show around.'
