About

A free public stargazing session at Floyd Bennett Field, a historic site in Gateway National Park in Brooklyn, where people can observe the night sky. The Amateur Astronomers Association runs these monthly observing sessions, open to everyone and held weather permitting, with cancellations in rain, snow, overcast skies, or snow on the ground. The observing spot is next to the Community Garden, within walking distance of the Q35 bus and with ample parking, and visitors are asked to douse their car lights at the entrance in the fence line and let someone guide them in.
