Steve Davis Quintet
The Django, 6th Avenue 2, 10013 New York, Manhattan
About
Steve Davis Quintet is a jazz concert at The Django, a live jazz club in the cellar of The Roxy Hotel on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan. The trombone-led quintet features Steve Davis with Eric Alexander on tenor saxophone, Maki Nientao on piano, Ahmed McLemon on bass, and Mike Camacho on drums. Davis is regarded as one of today's leading voices on the trombone and was the last to join Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, later working with jazz luminaries including Jackie McLean, Chick Corea, Freddie Hubbard, and Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars.
