Teresa Solar Abboud: Atlantic Ridge Multiplicity
Lehmann Maupin, West 24th Street 501, 10011 New York, Manhattan
About
Lehmann Maupin presents "Atlantic Ridge Multiplicity", an exhibition of new work by the Madrid-based artist Teresa Solar Abboud. Her multidisciplinary practice explores interrelation, hybridity, and metamorphosis through sculpture, works on paper, installation, and video, reimagining themes from subterranean landscapes to subatomic dynamics. She is known for her clay-rooted Tunnel Boring Machines, which combine hand-worked clay with brightly colored resin appendages evoking flippers, pincers, or beaks. The exhibition marks her first solo show in the United Kingdom.
