About
The Kid Brother is a silent comedy from 1927 starring Harold Lloyd, sometimes remembered as the "third genius" of silent comedy and the top box-office draw of the 1920s. Its marvelous gag sequences are placed within a story that sums up Lloyd's favorite theme of a young man who has to prove himself, and today the film appears to be his crowning achievement. The show also opens with Charley Chase having canine trouble in Dog Shy (1926), with live piano accompaniment by Ben Model.
