The World Famous Harlem Gospel Choir

The World Famous Harlem Gospel Choir is a gospel brunch concert at the Blue Note Jazz Club, presented with WBGO. The Harlem Gospel Choir is the most renowned gospel choir in America, made up of singers and musicians from Harlem's Black Churches and the New York/Tri-State area. The choir performs modern gospel classics as sung in the black churches of Harlem today, sharing a message of love and inspiration drawn from a musical tradition rooted in the hardship of African-American slavery since the 1700s. Its joyous, unfettered songs have been heard alongside stars such as Bono, Diana Ross and Sam Smith, and for presidents, popes and the UN General Assembly.
