Urban Garden Design (blended)

Urban Garden Design (blended) is a seven-session continuing education course that introduces the field of landscape design. Taught by Kimberly Tryba, it covers the history of garden design, key design principles, terminology, and an overview of plants and materials. Students produce a base plan, site analysis, and concept design for an urban garden through hands-on exercises and independent site visits, ending with an in-class exam; attendance is mandatory. The course is offered by Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
