About

An introductory lecture asking how Jewish tradition can anchor people at a time of deep communal and national soul-searching. It is taught by Rabbanit Nechama Goldman Barash, Education Director of the Pardes Learning Seminar and a master teacher of contemporary halakha and Talmud. The session explores how Torah addresses how humans live together, how leaders are held accountable, and how power is ethically wielded. Participants learn and discuss issues such as individual liberty versus communal duty and the boundaries of belonging in a deeply divided world.
