ALLMEND

«ALLMEND» is a video and text installation in the foyer and stairwell of the Debattierhaus. Curated by Jonathan Jäggi and Tobias Kubli in cooperation with Hochparterre, it takes Zurich's Allmend Brunau as its starting point to examine social space and communal living. A series of projections shows people and animals who briefly inhabit and shape this place together, while accompanying texts ask about the value, use and responsibility of shared spaces. The installation recalls that open spaces come under pressure and are also spaces of possibility for rethinking community. The installations are freely accessible Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm.
