«Maria», eine Videoinstallation von Annelis Strba
Heilig Geist, Brunnwiesenstrasse 57, Kreis 10
About
A video installation is on view in the church of Heilig Geist in Zürich-Höngg. Photographer and video artist Annelis Strba, who lives in Richterswil SZ, shows flowing and glowing colours of mother-and-child motifs and lets familiar Madonna images appear in a new light. The work invites viewers to reflect on the relationship between mother and child. Songs of Mary by St Hildegard of Bingen and Gregorian Marian chants sound through the speakers in the church.
