Befehl von ganz unten: a theatre piece on Brecht's Joan.

A theatre piece staged as a Tiny Desk Performance about Saint Joan of the Stockyards, based on Bertolt Brecht. Three performers invoke Joan in the glampunk attitude of Özlem Özgül Dündar's reinterpretation, as she steps out of the letters of the book onto the stage. With her own songs and ever-new short stories, she answers the cattle's lament and fights the exploitation. A production by Ernte Olafson and Patchwork Produktion, supported by Stadt Zürich Kultur and Ernst Göhner Stiftung.
