Cook the Science: Cooking in Space: Gravity in the Kitchen
ETH Zürich, Sonneggstrasse 5, 8006 Zürich, Rieden
About
«Cook the Science» is a public lecture series initiated by physicist Thomas Michaels; in this lesson, he joins chef Markus Stöckle to explore an invisible ingredient in cooking: gravity. Without it, many cooking processes simply would not work, as they demonstrate together. They show where and how gravity comes into play in the kitchen – for example, how it can be used to separate ingredients. The event is in English, lasts 75 minutes and is suitable for adults and young people aged 16 and up; registration is required.
