Creuser des passés connectés - Une rencontre interdisciplinaire en histoire africaine / Unearthing Connected Pasts - An Interdisciplinary Meeting in African History

A two-day workshop organized by the University of Zurich that brings together scholars to explore the history of sub-Saharan Africa across the centuries. How historical, archaeological, and literary approaches can deepen our understanding of Africa's past over the last millennium is at its heart. It is organized by Roberto Zaugg and Jacques Aymeric Nsangou of the Department of History. It concludes with a visit to the permanent exhibition on Swiss history at the Swiss National Museum.
