Dieter Roth, curated by Josh Smith is an exhibition of works by the Swiss artist Dieter Roth (1930–1998) at Galerie Eva Presenhuber in Zurich. Curated by Josh Smith, it gathers works from the late 1960s through the 1980s—painted shelves, object assemblages, prints, self-drawings and pieces made from chocolate or light bulbs—that show how Roth turned the working process itself into the subject of art. The gallery presents it in parallel with Josh Smith's eighth solo exhibition in Zurich, for whom Dieter Roth remains an important artistic reference.
