I came for you: dance performance on porn and power.

«I came for you» is a dance performance by the Zurich-based collective DAS FLAMMENDE FAGOTT, which calls itself a pornographic ballet mécanique. The piece explores the power structures and political dynamics of mainstream pornography. Using body, sound and movement, it raises questions about identification, objectification, intimacy and violence, examining the tension between hegemonic gazes and emancipatory appropriation. The performance is held in spoken English and is described as a remix of pop, lust and repetition.
