About

A public lecture at the University of Zurich, part of the lecture series 'Wahrheit und Lüge' (Truth and Lies). The session is led by Prof. Dr. Christina Vogel and Dr. Henning Hufnagel. It is devoted to Denis Diderot's dialogues as a discursive strategy in the search for truth, and to lying in literature, from Mademoiselle de Scudéry's 'art du mensonge' to Oscar Wilde's 'The Decay of Lying'. The series takes a transdisciplinary, dialogic approach, with at least two lecturers per session.
