About
A documentary about the day in 1975 when 90% of Icelandic women refused to work, cook or care for children, bringing their country to a standstill. For the first time, the main protagonists tell this story themselves: subversive and surprisingly funny. With their action, the Icelandic women made Iceland the best place in the world for women. Directed by Pamela Hogan and Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdóttir, followed by a talk with experts.

Critics
7.5Very good
Critics praise the film's humour, lively pace, varied animation and engaging eyewitnesses. Some fault the lack of deeper analysis of how the strike achieved such a strong impact.
