Freiheitsgeschichten im Kinoformat: Ein Tag ohne Frauen

A documentary film evening at the Oerlikon library about the day in 1975 when 90% of Icelandic women brought the country to a standstill. The film 'Ein Tag ohne Frauen' by Pamela Hogan and Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdóttir shows the main protagonists telling the story themselves for the first time: how they refused to work, cook or care for the children – subversive and surprisingly funny. Afterwards there is a talk with experts. The event is part of the series 'PBZ × Let's Doc: Freiheitsgeschichten im Kinoformat', five documentaries about people who want a different future, and includes a non-alcoholic welcome drink from the RamRam Bar.
