About
A public lecture on the role of the Epstein-Barr virus in the development of multiple sclerosis. Prof. Roland Martin of UZH reports on the search for traces in how the disease arises and what the interplay of one's own genes with the virus contributes. The Naturforschende Gesellschaft in Zürich, founded in 1746 and one of Europe's oldest scientific societies, holds a traditional lecture series each autumn on natural science, medicine and technology. Host is Dr. René Oetterli, president of the NGZH; the events are free, require no registration, and interested laypeople are warmly welcome.
