About
A panel discussion on hope and personal responsibility in times of climate crisis, social upheaval and digital overload, held alongside the exhibition Fantastische Karten. It takes its starting point from a surprising reference to J.R.R. Tolkien in the most recent Pentecost encyclical. The speakers are Tobias M. Eckrich, chairman of the German Tolkien Society, and Sama Schwarz, film and theatre director and co-founder of Maison du Futur; the conversation is moderated by Lukas O. Ritzel. At its heart are concrete small-scale action and the question of whether a planted tree can achieve more than a thousand online posts – admission is free, registration is requested.
