Eva Menasse – Alleinruhelage

A reading with Eva Menasse from her novel "Alleinruhelage", moderated by Peer Teuwsen. The novel follows a woman who, after the end of her marriage, is left alone with the weekend house and sets out to reclaim this former place of family idyll. With two companions she battles renovations and other setbacks before setting off once more from her "stable state of being alone". Menasse was awarded the Bruno Kreisky Prize for the Political Book of 2021 for her novel "Dunkelblum".
