Evensong: Anglican evening service of song and prayer.

Evensong is a public evening service full of singing and prayer, drawing on the Anglican tradition created by Thomas Cranmer for the Book of Common Prayer. It also serves as an exercise for theology students in their master's studies, run by the Theological Seminary of the University of Zurich. The service includes communion and a short interpretation of a biblical text based on the Moravian daily texts, blended with musical styles ranging from Gregorian chant to worship, chorale and Taizé singing. Everyone may join in the singing or simply listen, and afterwards there is a chance to talk further.
