About

An evening talk within the lecture series "Fake Science — Isolated Cases or a Systemic Problem?" at the University of Zurich, held in English. The series is organized by the Center for Reproducible Science and Research Synthesis (CRS) of the University of Zurich. The talk "Healing Science from the Inside Out: Meta-Science as a Vital Path to Public Trust" asks what sustains the public's confidence in science and how scientists can strengthen it, arguing that practices such as underpowered studies and selective publication of significant results are a systemic rather than isolated problem. The biweekly events, each featuring two talks and a joint discussion, are aimed at students and researchers from all disciplines and at a broad public audience.
