Double lecture on Plato's noble lie and self-deception.

A public double lecture on Plato's so-called 'noble lie' and on self-deception as a Socratic reflection. It forms part of the transdisciplinary lecture series 'Wahrheit und Lüge' (Truth and Lies) run by the Advanced Researchers and Teachers of the University of Zurich, which examines various aspects of truth and lies in science, culture and morality. The session is led by Dr. Edwin de Sterke and Dr. Hansueli Rüegger, as each session of the series is dialogically shaped by at least two lecturers. It takes place at KOL, Rämistrasse 71.
