Jugendworkshop: Wie kommen wir zu den Sternen?
ETH Zürich, Sonneggstrasse 5, 8006 Zürich, Rieden
About
A youth workshop titled „Wie kommen wir zu den Sternen?“ taking place in lecture hall E 3 at ETH Zurich, open to young people aged 13 and up. It is led by Dr. Ralph Schumacher and Andreas Küttel of the ETH Youth Academy, which offers courses for school students from grade 7 onwards. The topic is how movement in space actually works: the physics and engineering behind satellites, space probes and spaceships, as well as chemical, electrical and nuclear propulsion and concepts that so far exist only in theory. The workshop combines physics, technology and current space research; no prior knowledge is needed, just curiosity, and registration is required.
