Kapitalismus - Geschichte einer Weltrevolution

A reading seminar in which participants jointly discuss the roughly 1000-page book 'Kapitalismus. Geschichte einer Weltrevolution' by Harvard historian Sven Beckert. The evening is part of a six-part series led by Dr. Dana Sindermann, head of the economics and social ethics department at the Paulus Akademie. Beckert shows that capitalism already existed in various world regions 1000 years ago and has always been a power system of exploitation, slavery and state violence. Buying the book is strongly recommended as a basis for the discussions.
