A concert in the «Opera Nova» series titled «I. For Trained and Untrained Musicians» on the Studiobühne of the Zürich Opera House. The programme features works by Christian Wolff («Stones»), John Cage («4′33») and Cornelius Cardew («Paragraph 7» from «The Great Learning»). At its centre is making music together, which requires neither virtuosic technique nor prior musical knowledge. The audience is invited to switch from listening to playing along and to communicate with others without words, through simple, self-made sounds alone.
