Talks and readings
Kostbare Darkness: evening of talks on light pollution.
About
«Kostbare Dunkelheit» is an evening of talks on the subject of light pollution. The nature and bird conservation association of Winterthur-Seen has invited two speakers: Mirjam Münch talks about how light at night affects sleep and health, and Madeleine Geiger about wild animals in the nocturnal urban landscape. They explain how artificial light is increasingly becoming a problem for people and the environment and how darkness is disappearing from towns and villages. Admission is free with a collection, and an apéro follows the talks.
