Leseclub: Drei Starke Frauen

The reading club is a cooperation between Schauspielhaus Zürich and the bookshop 1002F. Over five weeks, participants read and discuss the novel «Drei starke Frauen» by the French writer Marie NDiaye, which was awarded the Prix Goncourt. It weaves together three destinies between Europe and Africa, telling in powerful images of love, family and violence, and of three proud women who refuse to be defeated by life or humiliated by others. In December the club goes to the theatre together.
