About

The documentary "My Name is Eeooow" shows what happens when a name is sung instead of spoken. In the village of Khongthong in the Khasi Hills in India, names have protective powers and are sung or whistled. Mothers pass the melodies on to their babies. Oinam Doren's film follows two women on their journey.
