About
«Now Processing» is a public lecture series of the institute colloquium exploring how computational methods are reshaping research and knowledge production in Art History. It was conceived and organized by Daniel Berndt at the Kunsthistorisches Institut (Institute of Art History) of the University of Zurich, which belongs to that university. The series traces the evolution of Digital Art History from early digitization initiatives and databases to large-scale data analysis, machine learning and artificial intelligence. It also critically asks how digital tools may both reproduce and challenge established, often Eurocentric paradigms.
