Words as Weapons: Karsten Donnay on hate speech in populism.

A lecture titled «Worte als Waffen – Hassrede im Zeitalter des Populismus» (Words as Weapons – Hate Speech in the Age of Populism), part of the lecture series «Die Sprache der Macht. Die Macht der Sprache» (The Language of Power. The Power of Language). The speaker is Prof. Dr. Karsten Donnay from the Department of Political Science at UZH; the series is organized by the Commission UZH Interdisciplinary (UZH-i). The series examines language as an instrument of power – covering topics such as propaganda and hate speech – from several disciplines.
