Platons sogenannte 'edle Lüge' – Propaganda oder wahre Dichtung? / Selbsttäuschung – eine sokratische Besinnung

An evening lecture titled «Platons sogenannte 'edle Lüge' – Propaganda oder wahre Dichtung? / Selbsttäuschung – eine sokratische Besinnung», part of the lecture series «Wahrheit und Lüge» (Truth and Lies). The series is run by the Commission of the Ringvorlesung of the Advanced Researchers and Teachers (FFL) at the University of Zurich, and this session is led by Dr. Edwin de Sterke and Dr. Hansueli Rüegger. The series examines various aspects of truth and lies in philosophy, religion, literature, art, economics, law, politics and other fields. Its dialogical structure, with at least two teachers leading each session, is meant to open up deeper understanding of these fundamental aspects of science, culture and morality.
