Rämistrasse 59, RAA G-01, Kleine Aula

About
A public talk followed by a discussion at the University of Zurich, organised by the UFSP Digital Religion(s). Journalist Annika Brockschmidt examines the alliance between tech elites from Silicon Valley and radical Christian nationalists of the MAGA coalition, who together threaten pluralist democracy. She also shows how social media serve the religious right as recruiting tools to persuade young women to work against their own rights. Afterwards, Roland Meyer and Kathrin Trattner join a discussion moderated by Elia Blülle (Die Republik); entry is free and no registration is needed.
