CHESS lecture "Digitale Souveränität im Hochschulumfeld: Vom Schlagwort zur Schweizer Handlungsfähigkeit"

A public talk in the CHESS lecture series on digital sovereignty in the university environment. The series is run by CHESS, the Center for Higher Education and Science Studies at the University of Zurich. Prof. Dr. Matthias Stürmer examines the concept of digital sovereignty, which ranks high on the economic, societal and political agenda after decades of dependence on US technology corporations, looking at its impact on universities and scientific practice. Legal and political effects of current national and international events as well as possible approaches and solutions are also discussed.
