SACRE

SACRE is a contemporary dance piece, presented as a sharing in Studio 2. Behind the work is Marie Alexis with her compagnie O., currently in residency at Tanzhaus Zürich. The choreography offers a re-reading of 'The Rite of Spring': stimming, a self-regulating movement typical of neurodivergent people, meets externally imposed resistance. This makes society's exclusion of neurodivergence physically tangible, while the sacrificial myth shifts as community and the individual are renegotiated – the fourth and final project in the MULTIVERSE cycle.
