Shutter

«Shutter (Sutter kodtid winyan)» is a 2004 feature film from Thailand. It is the debut of directors Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom and follows photographer Tun and his girlfriend Jane, who accidentally run over a young woman on their way home from a wedding party and flee the scene. A few days later Tun notices that his photos are disfigured by streaks of light and the ghostly presence of the dead girl, though there is neither a death notice nor a corpse for that night. Influenced by Japanese horror traditions, the film shows how the decision to escape responsibility for one's actions brings terrible consequences.
